About Us
SouthBit is a specialist hard drive and solid state drive data recovery laboratory based in Claremont, Cape Town, founded in 2010. The founder, Nick Parsons, has decades of experience in IT along with an honours degree in digital forensics. SouthBit focuses exclusively on professional data recovery (HDD, SSD, RAID, NAS and server arrays) as well as flash memory such as USB drives, memory cards and other storage devices. The lab combines modern industry-leading tools with a HEPA-filtered environment and always-on UPS powered equipment to protect client data during diagnostics and recoveries.
